Handbound books I like
Lo xxxxxxx

grafik.

Thought I'd upload some pictures of Grafik magazine as they use a lot of different techniques in their mag. On the cover they use a spot varnish to enhance some of the image and give it a different feel.

Also for their editorial they have a half page cut out printed on glossy paper which is an interesting way of doing it. Then throughout the magazine they have different paper types and coatings for different sections, to give readers an indication of what section they're in.

its nice that.

Think the layout of the magazine is really simple but really effective at focussing on the work in it but also includes writing about each piece and interviews. The layout is consistant throughout which I think is important in a publication like this.
